This summer, Jack Mandeville went to a “How to start a business” camp at Denver’s Young Americans Bank. The kids learned how to make crafts, then sold them during a fair at the end of the week. Among other things, teachers taught the students they should save 10-percent of their money, spend 80-percent and donating at least five-percent to a nonprofit.
Jack and his classmates chose to donate a portion of their profits, $50, to the charity KidsGiving365 to support programs like “Santa’s Elves” and “Make it KOOL to go back to school” that help needy children in Denver.
Their actions are an inspiration to everyone! Thanks for the donation, kids, and thank you, Young Americans Bank!
